Paris – Early on Monday morning, a Chanel store near the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris, was ram-raided by several thieves in a car. As stated by a police source, the store had been set ablaze by the suspects, who then fled the scene.
“The individuals used a first vehicle to enter the establishment, smashing the window, before fleeing in a second vehicle, taking some of the shop’s merchandise with them”, the source further added.
The incident took place at about 5:15 am on Avenue Montaigne, with the extent of the damage yet to be determined.
Four people are however suspected of having part in the attack, and the damage and loss are being assessed, stated a public prosecutor.
