Cape Town – Police in Durban arrested a 29-year-old man after he was found with drugs, firearms and ammunition during an operation conducted in Shallcross on Thursday this week.
In a statement, police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala said the suspect was found in unlawful possession of two pistols with 20 rounds of ammunition.

“Police found the two firearms hidden inside a snooker table. The police officers conducted a further search inside the house, which resulted in the recovery of 130 plastic Ziploc bags of high-grade dagga, 20 plastic containers hydroponic dagga, 20 pieces of rock cocaine and a digital scale.
“The estimated value of the drugs is R3 8150,” Gwala said.
