London – Anthony Joshua’s management company has announced his acceptance of the terms to fight Tyson Fury in December.
258 MGT, along with Matchroom Boxing, confirmed in a tweet that the two-time former unified world heavyweight champion has accepted the terms to fight Fury at the end of the year.
The proposed date for the fight is Saturday, December 3.
According to 258, Joshua’s camp are awaiting a response from the Gypsy King.

258 and @MatchroomBoxing can confirm, on behalf of @anthonyjoshua, that we accepted all terms presented to us by Fury’s team for a fight Dec 3rd last Friday.
Due to the Queen’s passing, it was agreed to halt all communication.
We are awaiting a response.

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, replied to the tweet: “Contract will be with you very soon.”
After two consecutive losses to Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk, along with his status as a champion, Joshua will be feeling as though he has something to prove after entering this week’s WBC rankings at No 6.
Meanwhile, Fury beat his last two opponents, Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte, before opting to retire. However, he informed the WBC at the end of last month that he would resume his career.
