Cape Town – Former president Jacob Zuma, amidst his involvement in the election campaign and legal battles, experienced health issues, reportedly collapsing due to fatigue and low blood pressure.
Despite assertions of his recovery, concerns about his well-being persist, with sources indicating a series of health incidents, The Citizen reported.
Citing News24, the report said that Zuma was compelled to halt his election campaign engagements following his collapse on Wednesday, attributed to fatigue and low blood pressure.
“He is fine now. He fell on Wednesday in Umhlanga, and the doctors said it was fatigue,” an insider was quoted as saying.
A family member, speaking on condition of anonymity, informed News24 that Zuma experienced another “dizzy spell” and collapsed on Saturday.
The MK party, which Zuma now leads, denied claims of his poor health, emphasising routine rest periods and medical support during campaign travels.
