Cape Town – Deputy President Paul Mashatile has apologised after an altercation during his visit to Khayelitsha on Tuesday.
The incident occurred while Mashatile was conducting door-to-door visits ahead of the ANC’s 113th anniversary celebration.
A family member, carrying a toddler, confronted Mashatile and other ANC members, demanding they leave the house.
“All of you must leave now! Leave my mother’s house immediately!,” the man was heard saying.
