Cape Town — Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, seemingly commented on the Mmabatho Montsho, the wife of Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, liking a post linked to Floyd Shivambu’s departure from the party.
Malema addressed EFF supporters in the Gauteng Provincial Ground Forces Forum at Orlando Community Hall in Soweto and admitted that Shivambu’s departure was a surprise and slammed any party members for being disloyal.
However, Malema took issue with a social media incident involving EFF MP, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, and his wife, actress and director Mmabatho Montsho.
Screenshots of Montsho liking a post on Instagram have circulated online, sparking intense debate and outrage.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi must protect his family and leave that cult of Julius Malema.

Her Instagram name appeared under the ‘likes’ of an Instagram post of Shivambu announcing his EFF departure.
“The time comes in the life of any nation when there remain only two choices – submit or fight. That time has now come to South Africa,” Shivambu said on Instagram.

Malema seemingly took issue with Montsho and Ndlozi.
“How can someone say ‘ the decision to join uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) is the best decision ever taken’ and my wife Manto is the first one to like such a thing, and you say ‘Julius Malema is with us,” he said,
“When the partner likes the things that seek to denounce where the organisation stands, when the relatives, cousins, and siblings declared where they stand; and you still ask yourself ‘where does this leader stand?’ Look at those around him and you’ll know where this leader stands,” he added.
In response, many social media users came to Montsho’s aid and defended her from Malema, while also criticising the EFF leader for attacking her over her social media usage.
Other users suggested Malema disrespected Montshoa and Ndlozi, and that Ndlozi should resign before he faces Malema’s wrath.

Julius Malema doesn’t only monitor your social media, he monitor even your family and relatives’ reactions. Just a like or retweet can make you be expelled in the EFF. I’m bleeding for Dr Ndlozi. This is abuse. pic.twitter.com/xpSyHk6MMy

The CIC @Julius_S_Malema was wrong to allege that Dr Ndlozi is not loyal to the EFF. His wife just bought our branch gazebos last week

Malema gets really mad when one mentions his family but he has now subjected Mmabatho to attacks and unnecessary attention. Shame on him and those praising such acts. Yes, he’s hurt but have limits. The reason why he will never grow in Limpopo. Hlompho ga e gona.

Ndlozi must not allow him to disrespect his Wife

Its abuse and was totally unnecessary.

That’s crazy. Now my partner can’t be an independent thinker? All this are signs of dictatorship. What if a wife is not an EFF member?
