Cape Town – AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindeybo says the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is set to gift him a brand new SUV.
Dalindeybo revealed this while addressing supporters of the EFF at a rally in Mandela Park, Mthatha in the Eastern Cape on Sunday.
Dalindeybo told the supporters that Malema had promised to gift him a brand new ML (presumably Mercedes Benz) SUV.

“Let me tell you about something beautiful that the CIC is going to do for me. The CIC will gift me with a brand new ML,” Dalindeybo said, drawing applause from the crowd.
He thanked Malema for the gift and urged the people to vote for the EFF, as he would be doing so.
A report by EWN said this was not the first time that the king had publicly announced his support for an opposition party.

In 2013, he officially joined the Democratic Alliance (DA) under the leadership of Helen Zille.
At the time, he described the African National Congress (ANC) and and then president Jacob Zuma as “corrupt hooligans”, News24 said.
Malema was in the Eastern Cape for his election campaign. He was accompanied by party members including Member of Parliament Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

According to Dispatch Live, the EFF was convinced that it could wrestle control of several of the province’s major municipalities, including the Buffalo City Metro and OR Tambo district municipality, from the ANC.
