Cape Town – Former president Jacob Zuma has reaffirmed his commitment to the African National Congress (ANC), saying that he is prepared to die in the party, despite his leadership role in the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party.
Zuma’s remarks come amidst criticism for his support of the MK party, which has led to disciplinary hearings within the ANC.
“I’ve sacrificed my life. I was ready to die. I went to prison. I went to exile and some of the people who are leading they don’t even know what exile is all about. They don’t know, they’ve never been in prison.
