Tshwane — Tshwane Mayor, Dr Nasiphi Moya, offered a positive outlook on her first 100 days in charge, saying she has been able to turn the city’s fortunes around.
Moya was appointed as Tshwane mayor in October 2024 as she took over the reins from the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Cilliers Brink. Ahead of her term, Moya outlined financial stability, infrastructure development, and to improve service delivery in Tshwane.
In a statement, ActionSA’s Herman Mashaba outlined Moya’s plan to turn the city’s fortunes around, which included a focus on six key priorites. The corenrstone of the new administartion ahs already yielded positive results.
This includes 21 000 repaired streetlights, 291 high-mast lights, 99% reduction in pothole backlog, and 747 illegal dumping sties were cleared.
When the new Tshwane Mayoral Committee took office, it committed to prioritising quality service delivery that serves all communities across Tshwane.

ActionSA welcomed the progress of restoring the sginity of clean water to Hammanskraal, while the new adminstration has also made good strides on fiscal discipline.
