Cape Town – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has denied rumours that Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has resigned from the party.
These rumors circulated widely on social media, but EFF national spokesperson Leigh Ann Mathys dismissed them as false.
“Rubbish,” she responded to a post on X which claimed that Ndlozi had “submitted a resignation letter to the EFF leadership”.

The speculation of Ndlozi ditching the party gained traction after screenshots showed his wife, Mmabatho Montsho, liking a social media post by former EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu, who recently left the party.

EFF leader Julius Malema addressed the situation, expressing his disappointment and questioning the loyalty of those who supported actions that appeared to oppose the party.
“How can someone say ‘ the decision to join uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) is the best decision ever taken’ and my wife Manto is the first one to like such a thing, and you say ‘Julius Malema is with us,” he said.
“When the partner likes the things that seek to denounce where the organisation stands, when the relatives, cousins, and siblings declared where they stand; and you still ask yourself ‘where does this leader stand?’ Look at those around him and you’ll know where this leader stands.”
