Cape Town — Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla has called on uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) supporters to remain disciplined like her father, amid rumours of tension within the party.
The reports of factionalism has circulated within the party for several weeks, with talks of a purge of party leaders, and suspicions over ownership of the party. However, Zuma-Sambudla called for party members and supporters to remain focused, The Citizen reported.
“Let us continue to remain as disciplined as president Zuma. No amount of noise nor distraction will deter us from working towards our mission of a 2/3 majority [in this month’s election]!” she said.

She also labelled former party leader, Jabulani Khumalo, as the number one enemy after he publicly called out Zuma and asked that the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to remove Zuma as the president of the party and remove his face off the electoral ballot.
Khumalo alleged that Khumalo told the Constitutional Court that he feels Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile, forged a resignation letter in Zuma’s name.
He accused Duduzile Zuma of forging his signature and sending communication on documents with fake letterheads and said it made no sense that he would have ben expelled from the party if he had submitted a resignation letter.
