Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa’s envoy, Dr Sydney Mufamadi, travelled to Mozambique on Saturday, in response to violent protests following the confirmation of Frelimo’s election victory by the Constitutional Council.
The election results have fueled political and security instability in the country, prompting calls for South African mediation.
