Cape Town — ActionSA launched its election manifesto today in front of packed crowds at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg as party leader, Herman Mashaba, said his party will deliver on its promises.
Mashaba, along with many other members of the party, delivered a passionate ActionSA statement where the party outlined eight key priorities that it would implement to fix South Africa. This included economic growth and inclusion, bringing an end to loadshedding, quality education for all, law and order, securing borders, ensuing thorough service delivery, and inclusivity.
“Our plan will unlock millions of new jobs, safer communities, secured borders, access to quality education and healthcare for all, and for the first time, the inclusive empowerment of all previously disadvantaged South Africans, as well as those who have been hamstrung by three decades under an uncaring, unethical and unpatriotic government,” he said.
Mashaba said his manifesto was not a list of unfinished promises and unrealistic commitments, but rather a promise to the citizens of South Africa.
“Our manifesto is a vision of what is possible under an ethical and competent government, and forms a pragmatic, and implementable plan to fix our country, by addressing the greatest challenges facing South Africans.” Mashaba said.

Mashaba told crowds it was time to get rid of an incompetant government, and highlighted his plan to create 4.8 million jobs by 2029.
“We can not be celebrating people depending on R350 or R370 a month. We are sad that the success of the ActionSA government should be judged on how many people we will be able to get off the social welfare system. However, we will continue supporting those in need of social grants.”
“South Africans want to work but job-killing policies and poor quality of education are holding us back from unlocking an employment revolution. An ActionSA government will seek an average of 5% economic growth over five years by supporting entrepreneurs and decreasing the cost of doing business.” he added.
Regarding the energy crisis, Mashaba said ActionSA would establish a competitive energy market where independent Independent power producers and private sector competitors will join Eskom in electricity generation to boost South Africa’s electricity supply, saying ActionSA will bring an end to loadshedding within two years.
Mashaba boldy claimed that ActionSA is the only party capable of fixing South Africa
We want the people of the world to come to South Africa, but they must do so legally and when they are here, they must obey our laws.
