Cape Town — Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, said fellow EFF MP, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s position in the party was not under threat as he had renewed his membership.
Speculation had grown that Ndlozi was on his way out of the party to follow in the footsteps of Floyd Shivambu, Dali Mpofu and Busisiwe Mkhwebane. However, Malema urged his members to defend the party and not believe anything about the party unless it comes from the EFF leadership, IOL reported.
“I hear people are talking about Ndlozi. Dr Ndlozi is a member of the EFF, he’s a leader of the EFF and no organisation can claim him except for the EFF,” Malema said.
He said members must not listen to “gossip from drunkards” and if anyone asked the EFF leadership, they would learn that Ndlozi has renewed his membership in the party. Malema said no one could divide the EFF as they were a “solid unit: and he urged his party members not to engage with any MK members, who he believed were on a path to destroy the EFF.

According to TimesLIVE, Malema has previously dismissed claims Ndlozi was banned from attending the party’s national people’s assembly in December, labelling them as “shebeen gossip” and “toilet discussions”.
“You must not give them any chance, go for them when they attack the EFF,” he said.
Malema expressed confidence in the party’s unity.
“They think they can divide this organisation. They will never divide this organisation. We are one thing, marching to the National Prosecuting Authority as a collective of leadership united more than ever,” he said.
He encouraged his members to defend the movement and work hard to say the EFF is growing.
