Cape Town – South Africa’s transport minister Fikile Mbalula received yet another backlash on social media, after posting a cryptic tweet about his “trip” to Ukraine over the weekend.
Mbalula took to Twitter on Saturday to let his followers know that he had “landed in Ukraine”.

According to Times Live, Mbalula’s tweet came as social media users debated the country’s response to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
“Just landed in Ukraine,” Mbalula wrote in a tweet.

His tweet did not gain a positive tract.

Many tweeps chastised Mbalula for taking a trip to other countries whilst leaving problems that his department is failing to address, such as potholes on the roads.
