Cape Town – EFF National Council of Provinces (NCOP) member Nolubabalo Mcinga, the sixth wife of abaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, has reportedly resigned from both the EFF and parliament after serving as an NCOP member for five months.
According to reports Mcinga confirmed her resignation, citing undisclosed reasons and mentioning she is unwell.
“Dear chairperson and honourable members, it was truly a pleasure working with you. I deeply value the experience and time we shared. I wish you all the best in your continued work and leadership. I have resigned as a member of the EFF and also as a permanent delegate of the NCOP,” Times Live quoted her as saying.

Her resignation follows other high-profile defections, including former EFF chairperson Dali Mpofu and others who joined Jacob Zuma’s MK Party, ahead of the EFF’s December elective conference.
