Cape Town – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says he cannot be threatened by “small kids with small brains”, as he fights for the unity of Africans.
Malema said this during an interview with SABC’s Sophie Mokoena over the weekend.
His remarks came just a week after the leader of Operation Dudula Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini” accused him of being “jealous” of the progress made by his movement and said that he was behind his arrest.
The movement also accused Malema of supporting illegal foreigners in the country.
Operation Dudula is an anti-migrant protest movement in South Africa that has gained momentum in recent months.

Dlamini was arrested recently and charged with housebreaking and malicious damage to property.
He was granted bail of R1 500, and is expected back in court on May 27.

Malema maintained that he would not turn against Africans who have genuine challenges in their respective countries and are fleeing reprisals and harassment.
“I fight real battles of the continent. I have no time for amateurs who are trying their luck using my name. Everybodt knows what I stand for. I don’t care what they say about me. They can make all sorts of allegations.
“I fought here the biggest establishment against me and I’m not going to be threatened by small kids… If you listen [to] how they speak… they all imitate me,” said Malema.

Malema said that late former leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah and Muammar Gaddafi fought for the unity of Africans, a noble idea that must be defended and implemented.
