Cape Town – Former SARA leader Colleen Makhubele and Bapedi Crown Prince Adil Nchabeleng are set to be sworn in as MPs for the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party next Tuesday.
The MK Party, Parliament’s third-largest, said in a statement on Wednesday that their appointments reflect the party’s commitment to transformative policies and socio-economic justice.
“The MK Party has high expectations for these leaders, as they embark on their parliamentary journey and we wish them well,” the party said in a statement.

“Both are tasked with advancing the MK Party’s vision of radical socio-economic transformation, prioritising policies that address land expropriation without compensation and energy security.
“Their presence in Parliament will amplify the voice of the marginalised.”
Makhubele is a former Johannesburg Speaker, while Nchabeleng is a renowned energy expert.
