Cape Town – The EFF has reportedly proposed a policy amendment requiring members seeking positions on the party’s Central Command Team (CCT) to have a post-matric qualification.
“This requirement was initially highlighted five years ago, likely as an effort to give party members ample time to obtain post-matric qualifications if they wish to be part of the party’s top structure.
“The EFF says it’s a measure to ensure CCT members can speak coherently and make well-structured presentations on how to move the party forward,” Primedia+ reported.
The CCT, the EFF’s highest decision-making body between conferences, will be reconstituted during the party’s third National People’s Assembly (NPA), set to begin on Thursday at Nasrec Expo Centre.
