Cape Town – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has stirred social media with its announcement of an EFF Jazz Hour live concert featuring prominent members like Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Ringo Madlingozi.

However, the steep ticket prices ranging from R2,000 to R50,000 have caused surprise and criticism among some users.
“Who will pay 50k just to listen to you, mara? Money laundering at its best,” X user MK party member (@FederationAuto1) wrote.
Despite this, EFF supporters are enthusiastic about the event, which is part of the party’s “Funding Our Own Revolution” campaign.
Julius Malema, the leader of the EFF, conveyed in a social media video that to secure victory on election day, May 29th, the party seeks support through donations.

“We are asking you to donate all kinds of things that you can donate to the EFF. We are asking for cattle, we are asking for gold, we are asking for sheep, we are asking for chickens, and we are asking for canned food. Perishable and non-perishable food can be donated to the EFF because we believe our hard-working volunteers must be catered for,” said Malema.
