According to SABC, Kodwa, spoke at the ANC NWC meeting with the KZN PEC on Monday and expressed his happiness to return and serve the organisation despite the difficult period he faced.
He emphasised that he was not entitled to any position but was motivated by his election to the NWC and NEC at the 55th ANC conference.
“Difficult period for me but I think there is a lot I have learnt from that period. I am not entitled to any position, and I am very clear about it. But I am here now because I am elected by the 55th conference of the ANC, both as the member of the NWC and the NEC, that’s what excites me to be back again in the structures of the ANC, to help contribute towards building the ANC,” the report quoted Kodwa as saying.
