Kabelo Gwamanda: The former Johannesburg mayor is accused of operating a fraudulent funeral and investment scheme. Arrested five months after a warrant was issued, he is out on bail and due in court in December 2024.
Gwamanda’s arrest exposes the ANC-EFF-ActionSA coalition’s failure to lead Joburg with integrity. The DA has long warned about his fraudulent activities.
