Cape Town – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has reportedly lost another founding member, Alfred Motsi, who is joining the MK Party (MKP).
Motsi, a former North West provincial convener and legislature member, cited poor provincial leadership, the party’s direction, and a lack of support from Julius Malema as reasons for his resignation, City Press reported.

“The EFF’s taken a wrong turn and now it’s dead. It’s that simple,” the report quoted him as saying.
This follows high-profile exits like Floyd Shivambu, Dali Mpofu, and Busisiwe Mkhwebane.
Malema on Saturday said that factionalism, disunity, and disloyalty will not be tolerated as the party prepares for its third National People’s Assembly in Johannesburg next month.
Speaking at the EFF Limpopo Provincial Assembly, Malema warned members against behaviour that undermines party integrity and urged them to denounce divisive actions carried out in their names.
“If you keep quiet when your name is used to divide and undermine the integrity of the organisation, your name shall be disqualified from contesting for any position in the organisation. While people do wrong things in your name you must be able to stand up and say not in my name,” says Malema.
