Zuma was suspended from the ANC in March, with party officials citing his actions as undermining ANC integrity and discipline.
Despite initially stating support for the ANC, Zuma later announced backing for the MK party, claiming the ANC had deviated from its core values.
The ANC considers Zuma’s support for the MK party as a violation of its constitution.
Zuma’s status within the ANC has been contentious, with some officials asserting he is no longer a member due to his actions.
