Cape Town – Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has paid tribute to renowned analyst, broadcaster, and author, Eusebius McKaiser, acknowledging the importance of his voice in South African politics.
McKaiser died on Tuesday after experiencing a suspected epileptic seizure.
He was 45.
McKaiser’s manager, Jackie Strydom, said he appeared healthy and was going about his day before the sudden incident
“Rest in peace, my brother Eusebius. We did not always see things the same way, but your voice was important in South African politics. Sleep my brother, till we meet again,” said Malema in a tweet.

ActionSA and the DA expressed their sorrow and praised McKaiser’s political commentary.
“We are devastated to hear of the untimely passing of one of South Africa’s brightest journalists. Our sincere condolences to Eusebius McKaiser’s friends, family, and to all South Africans that followed his journey. May he rest in peace,” wrote ActionSA.
