Cape Town – A woman was reportedly found dead inside her car with a bullet wound on R102 near Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape on April 28.
According to IOL, the deceased was found inside a white Ford Bantam which was parked on the side of the road.
“The deceased had a gunshot wound in the upper body and was declared dead at the scene. There was no firearm found at the scene,” the report quoted spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli as saying.

Times Live reported that the name of the deceased was being withheld until her the next of kin formally identified her body.
A case of murder was opened.
The police further urged anyone with the information in relation to the incident to come forward.
