Cape Town – Traditional wedding celebrations allegedly hosted at a university residence in KwaZulu-Natal have sparked some amusement on social media.
A video showing some traditional wedding activities at the residence went viral on social media earlier this week
In the clip, students are seen participating in customary wedding activities such as singing and dancing.

The bride and groom in traditional wear are sitting next to each other with some gifts in front of them.
The video ends with the groom uncovering the bride, with the crowd cheering and singing in celebration.
Social media users commented on the video, saying the students should rather focus on their studies while some were amused by the alleged wedding which formed part of the students’ celebration of Heritage Month.
