Cape Town – A video of passengers walking on the rooftop of a moving bus on the busy N3 highway on Sunday left motorists stunned and driving with extra caution.
The video went viral on social media.
In the clip, passengers can be seen comfortably walking on the roof of the moving bus while another tries to get into a moving car next to the bus.
At one point, occupants of the car seem to encourage one passenger, who is hanging on the side of the bus, to swing his legs into their vehicle.
The dangerous act of these passengers has been condemned by Durban metro police and social media users.
TimesLive reported that Durban metro police spokesperson, Boys Zungu, has called for action to be taken against the bus driver and passengers.
He said they would also beef up freeway patrols, the report said.

“All should be charged for this behavior. We have zero-tolerance for this kind of behavior,” the report quoted Zungu as saying.
