Pretoria – A video of a brave victim of a business robbery pursuing armed suspects has spread on social media, showing the man choosing fight over flight in a high-stake situation.
The video was uploaded by crime activist, Yusuf Abramjee, with a lot of his followers showing concern for the businessman, saying that the situation was risky and it “could have easily gone south”.
According to Abramjee, the incident took place in Laudium, Pretoria.
In the video, the two suspects can be seen retreating into their getaway vehicle in which the driver was waiting for them, after presumably fleeing from the business they had robbed.
Just before they are completely in the vehicle, the victim can be seen running out in an attempt to pursue them. He jumps on to the car and manages to open the driver’s door, but the driver is able to overpower the owner and shuts it.
The victim also narrowly escapes being knocked over.
