Durban — Paramedics in Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) responded to an incident on Tuesday morning after a taxi driver was arrested after running over a metro officer.
ALS Paramedics were alerted to an incident that occurred at the Moorton Shopping Centre after a Durban Metro Policeman was knocked down by a taxi driver. According to ALS Spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said they were alerted to the incident and responded immediately.
“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the seriously injured officer lying on the roadway. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize the Policeman believed to be in his thirties on scene who had sustained multiple injuries before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.” Jamieson said.
Just after 8:30am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to the Moorton Shopping Centre where a Metro Policeman had been knocked down by a taxi.
