Cape Town – Britain’s Prince William has shared that his wife, Kate, is “doing really well” after preventive chemotherapy.

Prince William, the British heir, is in South Africa this week to host the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony. He travelled solo for the event, as Kate remained in the UK to continue her recovery.

He said that she is supporting him from home.

“She’s doing really well thanks.
“She’s been amazing this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success,” said Prince William in an interview.

William launched the Earthshot Prize in 2020 to support innovative solutions for global environmental challenges, awarding five winners £1 million each.

He expressed hope for a positive future, championing “game changers” and leaders committed to sustainability.
