Cape Town – The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) is currently conducting an investigation into a video that depicts members of the force assaulting an unidentified male civilian.
The video shows several SANDF soldiers repeatedly kicking an unresponsive man on the ground.

SANDF has confirmed that the individuals in the video were wearing their recognizable combat dress.
However, the location and specific details of the incident remain unknown.
The SANDF spokesperson, Simphiwe Dlamini, has said that the organisation is collecting information to determine the facts surrounding the incident.
“”The SANDF is gathering information related to the incident to establish facts pertaining to the matter,” said Dlamini.
