Cape Town – Supercars worth millions of rand were on display at Oceans Mall in Umhlanga when a Porsche crashed into another Porsche and a McLaren on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the Porsche attempted to merge into traffic and was struck by a passing SUV, causing it to collide with the parked supercars, Times Live reported.
Fortunately, a pedestrian who was present narrowly avoided injury.
The video of the crash was posted on Instagram by Vivian Reddy, a co-developer of the mall, who commented on the pedestrian’s lucky escape.
“Someone rushing to a Father’s Day luncheon and nothing was going to slow him down. The pedestrian is so lucky to escape injury,” she wrote.

Oceans Mall management acknowledged the accident and emphasised the importance of road safety.
They confirmed that there were no injuries and that local authorities promptly arrived at the scene.
Commentators on the post suggested painting lines on the road outside the mall, while others speculated about the cost of the damage to the supercars.
