Cape Town – A petrol attendant in Johannesburg is being hailed as a hero after intervening in a potential kidnapping or hijacking at a petrol station on Corlett Drive.
CCTV footage shows three armed men attempting to abduct a man from his luxury vehicle.

The petrol attendant rushed towards the commotion, distracting the assailants, which allowed the victim to escape.
The attackers fled the scene.
Social media users praised the attendant’s bravery, with some even suggesting he should be rewarded with the petrol station.
