Cape Town – Former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s urgent application to receive her multimillion-rand gratuity is being heard in the Pretoria High Court.
Mkhwebane, impeached last year for misconduct and incompetence, is contesting her exclusion from the payment.
Current Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka argues that Mkhwebane forfeited the gratuity due to her impeachment.
