Kwazulu-Natal – A 57-year-old man was fatally shot while walking through a car park of a mall in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) on Wednesday.
Although void of context, the incident was captured by CCTV and the footage is spreading across social media.
The video captures the man pushing a trolley across the road when a Volkswagen Polo pulls up and two armed men jump out of the car. As soon as they exit the car, pedestrians can be seen running for cover.
The man is then shot multiple times. The armed men hop back into the car and reverse out of the picture.
Only the still body of the 57-year-old is left behind.

According to TimesLIVE, the victim is understood to have been part of the taxi industry.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala confirmed the incident and that an investigation is under way
“It is alleged on November 9 at 5.30pm a 57-year-old man was shot and killed while in a parking lot at Seadoone Mall.
“The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body,” Gwala was reported as saying.
