Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa will lead a repatriation and homecoming ceremony on Friday for South African freedom fighters who died in Zambia and Zimbabwe during the apartheid era.
The event, held at Freedom Park in Tshwane, is part of the 30th-anniversary commemoration of democracy.
On Wednesday, ministers Gayton McKenzie and Angie Motshekga received the remains of 42 liberation fighters, with seven more to follow pending DNA testing.
