Cape Town – Another kidnapping case has been opened in Cape Town after a 35-year-old woman was abducted in Ipswich Road, Blue Downs on Thursday morning.
According to Voice of the Cape, the woman was reportedly the wife of a business owner.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC Van Wyk said cases of kidnapping and attempted murder were under investigation.

As seen in the video, the lady was boxed in by two cars.
Reports said that shots were fired. The kidnappers grabbed her as she attempted to run away and dragged her into one of the cars. They then drove off, leaving the woman’s Audi R8 on the road.
Western Cape MEC of police oversight and community safety, Reagen Allen said that alternatives had to be considered to immediately address the kidnappings, IOL reported.
“Over the coming days, I’ll be engaging the Provincial Police Commissioner about kidnapping and various other matters.
“We do not want this to become an international embarrassment. This could also have a major impact on tourists visiting our shores or businesses investing in the province, which in turn negatively affects our economy and by extension job creation,” the report quoted Allen as saying.
