Kwazulu-Natal – Residents of a house in Waterloo, KZN were probably frightened by the sight of a black snake they discovered in their Wendy house.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), a Black Mamba with an estimated length of 3 metres was captured after it had been discovered on Tuesday.
“Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after the snake was spotted in the wooden structure,” RUSA said.
The snake was reportedly highly venomous.
“Reaction Officers were dispatched to the property at approximately 13:59 and on arrival identified the snake as a highly venomous Black Mamba.”
“The snake was captured by a professional snake rescuer who arrived shortly thereafter,” RUSA added.
