According to Rising Sun, the suspects managed to escape in a silver Toyota Avanza with a false number plate.
As a result, nearby stores closed, and police had to cordon off a larger area, the report said.
The robbers dropped a blue sheet, presumably used to carry the stolen jewelry.
Chatsworth Centre management confirmed the incident but assured that no staff or shoppers were injured, and there was no shootout, said the report.
The police are currently investigating the robbery.
