Cape Town – The owner of Camo Meat butchery in Bela Bela in Limpopo was reportedly greeted by a surprise guest in his butchery when a warthog ran into the store as he and his team were cashing up for the day.
According to The Citizen, the Camo Meats owner, Stephan Nel, said the animal ran into his store, as the business day was nearing its end.
“The warthog went into the kitchen behind the building, but could not seem to find his way out,” the report quoted Nel as saying.
The warthog’s sudden appearance left many in Bela Bela surprised. Some, however, thought it escaped from a nearby nature reserve, Forever Resorts.
Bela-Bela municipality’s fire brigade were called to catch the wild animal and it was successfully released back into the reserve.
