Cape Town – Three people reported died and three others were injured in a fire that engulfed a three-storey building in Johannesburg’s Jeppestown early Sunday morning.
The blaze, which began around 1am, drew response from City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services firefighters.

Robert Mulaudzi, spokesperson for Joburg Emergency Services, confirmed their presence and ongoing efforts to contain the fire in the CBD area.
