Cape Town – Two men aged 21 and 24, were reportedly burnt to death in Diepsloot, Gauteng after community members claimed they were involved in a house robbery this past Sunday.
According to News24, the two deceased men and their other two mates allegedly broke into a house at Sol Plaaatjie Extension Seven on Sunday night.
During the break-in, the victim was said to have suffered injuries and as a result, was taken to hospital.
The four fled with the victim’s television.

In the early hours of Monday morning, community members went to look for the suspects, as they were well known in the community. However, only three of them were found.
“The community hit the men until one managed to escape after drawing a gun,” the report quoted a resident as saying.
The two remaining young men were set alight by the community members.
Police were called on the scene later and on their arrival, they found the victim’s bodies burnt.
No one was arrested and investigations were continuing.
