“It is alleged that the victim was assaulted by the officers following a disagreement that led to the alleged assault inside the police station. The victim allegedly wanted the police officers to intervene after her boyfriend violated a protection order. She sustained injuries from the alleged assault,” Shuping said.
According to IOL, Shuping said an argument ensued between the victim and the two female officers, which led to the assault. The case is currently under investigation by IPID.
