Cape Town – Former beauty queen and Miss South Africa contestant Sasha-Lee Walton passed away on Tuesday, reportedly due to suicide at the age of 54 in Cape Town.
Walton, who was crowned second princess in the 1991 Miss SA pageant, had previously been married to Springbok rugby player James Dalton and Lance Sherrel, also a former Springbok player, The Citizen reported.

She leaves behind a son, Daniel, and had previously mourned the loss of her mother to cancer in 2017, the report said, citing Netwerk24.
Tributes poured in on social media following news of her death.
