Cape Town – A fire in Wesbank, Cape Town, reportedly killed three children aged 1, 4 and 9 on Saturday morning.
Reports indicated that Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service was alerted about the fire at a home in Baxley Crescent at 02.15.
The fire reportedly razed several informal structures.

“During firefighting operations, the bodies of the three children were discovered in one of the informal structures,” Cape Talk reported.
Two formal houses were also damaged.
“A total of 24 firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the blaze just before 4am,” Times Live quoted City Fire’s Jermaine Carelse as saying.
Police were investigating.
