Cape Town – The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms, including hail, expected to affect Gauteng, parts of KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Free State, North West, and the Northern Cape on Monday.
Additionally, an orange level 6 warning for disruptive rain has been issued for the coastal areas between Port Alfred and Richards Bay in the Eastern Cape.

According to SABC News, the Johannesburg Emergency Management Services and Disaster Management teams say they will monitor the weather.
Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi advised motorists to avoid flooded roads and use alternative routes.
