Cape Town – Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) officers bought petrol out of their pockets to assist a woman who was stranded on a dangerous road with her three children after their car ran out of petrol on Tuesday evening this week.
JMPD said in a statement, that Zakhele Mashego, Zenzele Hlatshwayo and Vhutshilo Rasilingwane were knocking off duty when they came across the woman who was stranded with her three kids in a car on N12 in Eldorado Park.
Out of concern due to the area being a high risk for hijacking and muggings, the officers stopped to assist her.
They discovered that her car ran out of petrol and that she didn’t have money on her to buy it.
?? These officers need to be rewarded!!!!!! Surely there can be some kind of a “legal fund” started for these dedicated people? Cummon Boss David, make it happen PLEASE?

This is really heart breaking and heartwarming at the same time. Life is so expensive to a point that women and children have to go through such. Big up to the officers may God shower them with blessings.
