Cape Town – Director-general in the Presidency Phindile Baleni has received death threats in the form of a letter and a bullet in her letterbox at home.
The Presidency confirmed this on Saturday in a statement and said it had since escalated the incident to security agencies.
“The Presidency has referred to security agencies a threat made against Director-General in the Presidency Ms Phindile Baleni,” the statement read.

According to The Citizen, the Presidency said the fight against crime and corruption would be unaffected by this threat against the DG.
