Cape Town – The sole survivor, an eight-year-old girl, of the Limpopo bus accident which tragically took the lives of 45 individuals from Botswana, is expected to return home on Wednesday.
Health Minister Joe Phaahla and Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba provided updates to the media on Tuesda.
The minister said that the girl will soon return home with minor injuries.

“It’s a miracle the child survived without breaking any bones, just minor scratches and wounds which will heal. [On Wednesday] the child will be able to go home and that will also be done in conjunction with the Botswana embassy,” said Phaahla.
Media access to her is restricted to prioritise her recovery and mental well-being.
